The Eaglemoss Superhero Collection -- Batman

The Super Hero Collection by British publisher Eaglemoss is a remarkable magazine series that focuses on characters from both the DC and Marvel worlds.  Each 20-page issue is extremely well-researched and is a great source of history and information about a particular superhero.

Issue #1 for example, dedicated to none other than our favorite Caped Crusader, is broken down into several chapters.

The research is exhaustive and covers everything from Batman's complete history, a detailed background check of his allies and enemies, the landmark storylines from the DC comic series, as well as a top-secret listing of his bat gadgets that have never before been published in the same place all at once!

The last chapter will be of particular note to ardent fans as it provides a rare glimpse into the creative minds of Batman's creator Bob Kane and co-writer Bill Finger.

Anything about Batman that is not mentioned in this issue is probably not worth knowing!

But the main draw to the Eaglemoss collection is without doubt, the 3-inch lead figurine that comes packaged with every issue.   This is what makes the series so damn enticing!

Batman -- and every other figure in the Eaglemoss collection -- is painstakingly researched with the best character poses gathered from DC Comics own vast information resource.  DC is involved in the entire production process to ensure that every detail, down to the facial expression of the character is accurately portrayed.  Bear in mind that this is no easy feat since these figures are small!  After expert hand-painting, each figure is individually numbered and mounted on its own base which can later be fixed to a desktop display stand once your collection is complete.

What better way to show off ten of your favorite characters!
