MP-09 Masterpiece Rodimus Prime -- Pre-Order!

The MP-09 Masterpiece Rodimus Prime is accompanied by Trailer/Mobile Defense Bay, Photon Eliminator, buzzsaw, welding torch, and Matrix of Leadership accessory. MP-09 Rodimus Prime is designed to enact the physical metamorphosis of the smaller Hot Rod into the noticeably larger Rodimus Prime; a switch-out feature swaps the younger Hot Rod likeness for the sterner Rodimus Prime likeness; Hot Rod’s twin Photon Lasers can be joined to create Rodimus’ Photon Eliminator.

The metamorphosis is similarly reflected in vehicle modes, enabling Hot Rod’s sleek car mode to covert into a modified carrier for the trailer component; the Mobile Defense Bay, contained within the trailer, is equipped with a double-barreled cannon.

Takara Dark Skyfire Exclusive -- Available for Immediate Order!

Utilizing the same mold as the C-06 Classics Skyfire / Jetfire version, Dark Skyfire/Jetfire is colored in grey, purple and black, and features special Decepticon emblems; Dark Skyfire includes optional super-robot components which add substantially to his already grandiose dimensions, providing him with a gun-flanked helmet, shoulder-mounted forward-flipping guns, and forearm-mounted projectile blasters.

Skyfire is capable of flying halfway around the world in 30 minutes, and is outfitted with twin scramjet modules and liquid hydrogen fuel tanks that enable him to escape Earth’s gravity. Million of years earlier, prior to the war, Skyfire shared a friendship with fellow scientist Starscream.

During an investigation of the prehistoric Earth, Skyfire was caught by a forceful wind and deposited somewhere on the planet. Starscream searched for Skyfire but failed to recover him; millions of years later, Skyfire was discovered, sealed within Arctic ice. Starscream anxiously oversaw Skyfire’s resuscitation, and once Megatron had officially christened Skyfire a Decepticon warrior, attempted to recruit his old friend as a subversive ally.

MP-03G - Masterpiece Ghost Starscream -- PRE-ORDER!

TAKARA's MP-03G: Masterpiece Ghost Starscream measures 13” long in jet mode and 10” high in robot mode. An intricate mixture of plastic and die cast, the almost completely translucent Ghost Starscream features a Gen 1-inspired color scheme.

Extensively articulated, the figure is equipped with arm-mounted removable guns, and should be accompanied by decals, missile accessories, and a missile-rack display base configured to support both robot and jet modes; presumably this version will include the same switch-between facial expression features found in Starscream’s non-spectral Masterpiece counterparts.

In Transformers: The Movie, Starscream seizes an opportunity to eliminate the badly-wounded Megatron, and is later, on Cybertron, amid pompous trumpet fanfare provided by the nonplussed Constructicons, crowned the leader of the Decepticons.

Immediately afterwards, Galvatron, the reconstituted version of Megatron, arrives and matter-of-factly destroys the puzzled, crown-adorned Starscream with a single cannon blast. In the cartoon episode “Starscream’s Ghost”, the mendacious Air Commander, discovered by the fugitive Triple Changer Octane in a moldering Decepticon Crypt, returns as a semi-translucent specter. Starscream’s new insubstantial form enables him to take possession of Galvatron’s highest-ranking warriors, providing him with a unique path to vengeance.
