Neca's Dancing Slimer and Diamond Select's Slimer Coin Box
Slimer, our friendly mass of green protoplasm gets incarnated by Neca Toys as Dancing Slimer!
Not a child's toy but a highly detailed motion activated device with realistic, handpainted latex skin, Dancing Slimer gyrates to the Ghostbusters theme. This is a rare item!
And standing at 11" tall, Diamond Select's Slimer coin box also serves a practical purpose in these recessionary times. Sculpted by Rudy Garcia, this realistic figure -- assuming that a protoplasmic entity can be real -- will take pride of place in any Ghostbuster movie buff's collection.

Ghostbusters 6" Figures Are In Stock!
Mattel's Matty Collector division has released 6" versions of our Ghostbuster heroes Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore and Ray Stanz. Accessories include proton packs, ghost traps and even a Slimer figure that comes with the Spengler set.
But conspicuously absent from the current offering is a Peter Venkman figure. And no wonder. Bill Murray, who played Venkman in the first two movies, is slated to return as a ghost in the third movie. Ok, I've given away a key secret element of Ghostbusters III. But I'm sure Mattel is also secretly working on a ghostly Venkman figure as we speak.
The complete range of 6" Ghostbusters figures are available at Bruce Toys & Collectibles!
Watch this blog for upcoming announcements on the 12" figures as well!

Universal Classic Monsters Series 2 Figures -- Wolfman, Frankenstein and Dracula
Just like in the original Universal Pictures releases of the 1930's and 40's, Universal's Classic Monsters Series 2 features the Wolfman, Frankenstein and Dracula action figures in glorious black and white!
Just like a scene out of the movie, The Frankenstein figure is boxed shackled to a large wooden chair -- befitting a monster of his stature. Detailed 'stonework' forms the base for this set's diorama.
As an added bonus, a Try It Now lever at the back raises the monster's arms so that he breaks free from his shackles! The Frankenstein monster is even stylishly decked out in a rubber jacket. Don't play with this one late at night..
Dracula, the original macabre metrosexual, comes immaculately dressed in a three-piece suit and a magnificent red-lined cape -- a true aristocrat. Bela Lugosi would have been proud.
This set features a splendid crypt diorama and a cosy coffin lined with a bed of 'dirt'. The Count also gets a rubber bat and rat for company -- it gets lonely in the hours just before dawn!
Only 1 piece of each available at Bruce Toys & Collectibles!

HotWheels 1/18th Scale Super Elite 1966 TV Series Batmobile
Produced in a limited run of only 3,000 pieces, HotWheel's Super Elite 1966 Batmobile is a faithful miniature recreation of the vehicle that appeared in the original Adam West/Burt Ward TV series.
The 1/18th scale Super Elite 1966 Batmobile is loaded with features:
The Batmobile that was used in the 1966 TV series was actually based on a futuristic concept car made by the Ford Motor Company's Lincoln division in 1955. This vehicle, the Lincoln Futura, was built in Turin, Italy at a cost of $250,000 -- a fortune in 1955! But the Futura never went into production leaving the prototype languishing in the Ford warehouse for a decade.
In the mid-60s, the Futura was aquired from the Ford Motor Company by Barris Kustom City for the princely sum of $1! Although how that came to be is not entirely clear.
In 1965, Barris Kustom City was commissioned by the show's producers to come up with a Batmobile. And because they had to deliver the completed vehicle in 3 weeks, Barris Kustom decided to spray their Lincoln Futura black and adorn it with the now famous red pinstriping, siren, rocket exhaust and Bat logos. And the Batmobile was born!
